Today we’re proud to introduce the third evolution of our cat formula: Pawever Plus 3.0 for Cats. It’s the result of a thorough review of the latest research by our science team, and it’s the most effective ageing and mobility support we’ve ever made. Here’s exactly what changed, and why.

A Reminder of Our Promise

Every change below was made for one reason: because the evidence pointed us there. We don’t add ingredients to look impressive on a label, and we don’t keep ingredients out of habit. Each active earns its place — and when the research says we can do better, we do.

That’s why version 3.0 still holds to the three things that have never changed at Pawever: every dose printed on the label, every batch independently tested at an accredited laboratory in the United States, and zero proprietary blends or hidden doses.

Here’s What Changed

PEA (Palmitoylethanolamide) — Added, 150 mg

The single biggest change. PEA is one of the most promising joint supporters for cats, and it now replaces glucosamine in our formula. In a 2026 University of Queensland double-blind trial, cats on PEA saw a 61% improvement in jumping ability in just six weeks, significantly beating placebo.

Glucosamine HCl — Removed (−175 mg)

This is the change we expect the most questions about, so here’s our reasoning. Glucosamine has been a joint-supplement staple for decades, but a growing body of recent research has questioned its efficacy — particularly in cats, and particularly at the doses that fit into a single capsule. Weighing that evidence, we chose to remove it and give the space to PEA, a joint supporter backed by more recent studies.

Concentrated Fish Oil — Removed (−40 mg)

Omega-3s are fragile fats that oxidise quickly inside a dry capsule, and a cat-sized capsule simply can’t hold an effective dose. Rather than include a token amount, we’ve moved omega support into a dedicated fish oil product — formulated properly, dosed properly, and kept fresh. Try Omega Oil for pets here!

Green Lipped Mussel — Increased (150 → 200 mg)

Naturally rich in omega-3s and glycosaminoglycans from New Zealand Perna canaliculus. We’ve raised the dose to sit more comfortably within recent research ranges for joint and mobility support.

CoQ10 — Increased (10 → 30 mg)

CoQ10 supports the cellular energy production that naturally falls away with age. We’ve tripled the dose to align with more recent studies.

Vitamin E — Increased (7 → 10 mg)

Vitamin E protects the fats in the formula from oxidising — and your cat’s own cells along with them. It also doubles as an essential nutrient for muscle and immune support.

NMN — Now Lipid-Coated (80 mg, unchanged dose)

The same 80 mg of NMN, now using advanced lipid-coating technology to enhance bioavailability. Better absorption, no change to the dose.

Type II Collagen — Refined (40 mg, undenatured)

40 mg of undenatured Type II collagen, processed at a lower temperature to better preserve its protein structure. In a six-month double-blind trial, 40 mg of undenatured Type II collagen significantly outperformed both placebo and a standard glucosamine–chondroitin dose.

Vitamin B12 — Added (+0.25 mg)

New to the formula, added to support brain health, nerve function and appetite — all especially valuable for senior cats.

Is the price changing? Our price will rise to reflect rising ingredient costs — but as a subscriber, you’ll keep the price you signed up at, forever.

Still have an older bottle? Finish it. Nothing is being recalled and nothing needs throwing out. When you’re ready to restock, you’ll move straight onto 3.0.

Any allergens? Our formula contains chicken, shellfish and a small quantity of soy — the same allergen profile as the previous formula, with no changes.
